IT Support Specialist 

We are seeking a highly motivated and technically proficient IT Support Specialist to join our growing team. This role will be crucial in ensuring the smooth operation of our IT infrastructure and providing exceptional technical support to our employees. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of IT systems, a passion for technology, and an interest in the blockchain/cryptocurrency space. 

 

Responsibilities: 

• Provide first-level technical support to end-users (in-person and remote) for hardware, software, and network issues. 

• Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems related to desktops, laptops, mobile devices, printers, and other peripherals. 

• Install, configure, and maintain operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux), software applications, and network devices. 

• Manage user accounts, permissions, and access control. 

• Maintain inventory of IT hardware and software assets. 

• Document technical issues, solutions, and procedures in a knowledge base. 

• Collaborate with other IT team members to escalate complex issues and implement solutions. 

• Assist with network administration tasks, including monitoring network performance and troubleshooting connectivity issues. 

• Support video conferencing and other communication tools. 

• Stay up-to-date with the latest technology trends, especially within the blockchain and cryptocurrency industry. 

Experience  

• Proven experience as an IT Support Specialist or similar role. 

• Strong knowledge of Windows, macOS, and/or Linux operating systems. 

• Experience with troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues. 

• Familiarity with networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP). 

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team. 

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.    

• A passion for technology and a willingness to learn.    

Preferred Qualifications: 

• Bachelor’s Degree in IT or Computer Engineering  

• CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+ or other relevant certifications. 

• Experience with cloud-based services (AWS, Azure, GCP). 

• Experience with scripting or automation tools.
